Project Details:  This is a beautiful natural freeform pool and spa located in Dallas, TX.  The unique thing about this project was the existing trees.  We were required to save all the trees.  There are a lot of areas where the paving is not mortared together to allow moisture and air through to help the trees.  We also had to stay away a certain distance not to disturb them.  There is a 6' elevation change that helps incorporate the boulders and waterfall into the hillside for a more natural look.  The sunken rose garden and greenhouse were removed & replaced by the  cabana, diving pool with cave and built in Dolphin slide.  Natural stone boulders and flagstone created the organic setting.  The cave, slide and built in bench provided retaining for the hillside.  The fire pit allows evening time activities to be enjoyed.   Lowered spa gives an allusion of a stream running downhill from the pool.  The pool house (previously the garage) was completely gutted & remodeled adding 2 covered porches - one for cooking & watching the big flatscreen tv, the other vaulted ceiling with 2 sided fireplace allows entertainment on the pool edge.
